Voting Block!

A voting block is a group of people with shared interests or concerns who tend to vote similarly. Campaigns focus on these groups because they can have a big impact on election results. By addressing their specific needs, politicians can efficiently use resources and gain reliable support. Voting blocks also shape long-term policies as their collective voice is hard for elected officials to ignore. Engaging with these groups not only helps win elections but also builds lasting political influence.

It's not about dividing people—it's about recognizing shared values and making sure those voices are heard and addressed in the political arena.

We Need Active Voters!

Active voting refers to the consistent participation of citizens in the electoral process by casting their votes in local, state, and national elections. It goes beyond simply registering to vote; it means staying informed, engaging with the issues, and making deliberate choices about who will represent our interests and values.

When people stop voting, their voices go unheard, and government decisions may not reflect the needs of the broader population. This reduces accountability for elected officials and can lead to power being concentrated in the hands of a few active voters or special interests. Ultimately, it weakens democracy.

Registering to vote is the first step to helping our community.

Dropped from the list- ThePurge Voter Problem

In Ohio, your voter registration status can be canceled simply because you have not voted recently and failed to return a mailed notice.

Ohio is currently undergoing another voter purge as part of its regular voter roll maintenance. This process, which is mandated by both state and federal laws, aims to remove voters who have not participated in elections for several years, have moved, or are no longer eligible due to death or changes in residency. In August 2024, nearly 155,000 inactive voter registrations were removed from Ohio's rolls, with voters having until October 7, 2024, to re-register for the upcoming elections if they were mistakenly purged.

Please, check your voter registration status today!
